Physical examination and assessments
CD 1-2 appointment:
consists of taking Medical history (general
health and detailed gynaecological and obstetric history).
Additionally a blood sample (and in some cases a trans-vaginal
ultrasound examination) for female reproductive hormone levels of FSH, TSH, LH
and oestradiol, ovarian reserve AMH hormone level.
CD 12-14 appointment:
Pre ovulation
ultrasound scan
examination of follicle growth and numbers, uterine and ovarian blood flow
measurements
CD 20-22 appointment:
Post ovulation
ultrasound evaluation of the uterine
lining (endometrium), uterine artery blood flow measurements and a blood
sample for progesterone.
Review appointment:
Discussion of hormone tests results, ultrasound
examinations and BBT chart from the complete monitored cycle leading to a
fertility level report.
